Creating A Blog Post For Free Charity Cars Using Sites You Are A Member Of

Today I wanted to show you how to create a blog post versus creating an entire blog specifically for Free Charity Cars. As I know some of you do not want to maintain an actual Blog, have time to market it and drive traffic to it, deal with the technicalities of it all, but would and could manage making a Blog Post once or every now and then.

You can make a Blog for Free Charity Cars at any website that you are a member of that allows you to have a blog. You could use your already established platforms to post it, to market it, and your circle of friends to spread awareness. For instance social networks you are a member of that allow you to blog like Myspace, LiveJournal, Xanga, etc... Also many other places you may be a member of that allow you to blog for instance on Experience Project, Cause Pages, etc..

I have made a blog post for Free Charity Cars at few locations for your reference so you can click the links to view them for some examples of where and what you can do.

these are just basic information about FCC there are not options to link in the blog posts themselves on cause pages so they are just plain text. However they do allow you to add links to sites on your page so I have linked backed to the site in that way from my cause page.

The Majority of My Myspace pages are private with exception to this one I made public just to show you a blog post on Myspace and this one I made with the FCC car donation information and took every single anchor text phrase and linked it. I did this one to show you how you can use Myspace link option to link back to the site in your post. Which is very easy to do just highlight the text you want to make a link then click the link button at the bottom of your blog content section and you can copy and paste the link in that box and voila your text is now a clickable link.

Here you can post blogs and you can link back to the site as well. On this one all you have to do is highlight the text you want to make a link click on the globe with the link under it in your blog toolbar copy and paste the link in the box Voila you have again made text a clickable link. You can also add images, embed videos etc..

I did not get into every single specific step of blog posting as I am unsure as to how many of you are members of these sites or others and what specfic help each person may require.

Creating A Blog To Promote Free Charity Cars

Today I wanted to post some information to assist those of you who are interested in starting a blog for Free Charity Cars, but a little hesitant because you are not sure what to do or have expressed to me that your not so great with the computer. Well rest assured you can create a blog and quite easily at that.

First off you must decide where you want to create your blog. There are tons of free blogging host available on the internet. However only 2 that are consisitently named the top 2 all across the internet! So those will be the ones I introduce you to today.

BLOGGER!
By far my favorite and many others across the web. It is what I use here to have my Free Charity Cars Blog. I like it because of it's simplicity and user friendly interface. This would be my suggestion for anyone who has never started a blog before, has little to none computer knowledge and short on time as it is quick to set up and very easy to use.

WORDPRESS
I have not personally used Wordpress yet although I will be soon as I plan on starting another blog in the near future and from what I have heard about Wordpress I would like to give it a try. Wordpress is bit more involved than Blogger, it will take more time to get things up and running, but they offer more options that Blogger does not including not only blogs but websites, and additional features that are not available with blogger.


If you choose to go with BLOGGER be sure to check out BLOGGER BUSTER here you will find very helpful information to use to get your blog up and running in no time! Including templates, tutorials etc...

If you choose to go with WORDPRESS be sure to check out WORDPRESS LESSONS this will give you a wealth of valuable information to assist you in getting your blog going, everything from an introduction to blogging to installing audio video presentations.

I know it can be difficult at times to try something new and  you may feel lost at times and wish you had a help button on your keyboard!

 BUT YOU DO!

A good rule of thumb to always remember is whenever you are unsure of something, do not understand something or need to just point blank learn how to do something ALWAYS  use the resources available to you on the internet. Do a GOOGLE search and YOUTUBE search. There are multitudes of How to articles, blogs and videos just at the tip of your fingers by searching and clicking your mouse.

Free Charity Cars Contest, Promote FCC & You Could Win Votes!

Welcome to my first ever Free Charity Cars Contest!

We need car donations!

In order to get people to Donate A Car  

we must promote the site and convince the public to make a car donation!

Creating a blog to spread awareness of the great need of so many struggling families is one of the best ways to get the word out! At the same time it gives everyone an opportunity to link back to the site from their blog posts and in their blog designs which in turn will increase Free Charity Cars ranking in the search engines. 

As seen above in my initial paragraph I used all 3 anchor text to link back to the site within my blog post here. Also if you look on the right side of my blog here above the Donate a Car picture you will see I have also linked back to the site within my blog design. The more people who do it the more we move up in those search engines hence making all those vehicles being donated to places that sale them lessen and more people donating them to Free Charity Cars whom gives them to families increase!!

Linking to 800charitycars.org from websites

So first I will give you the HTML code that you can copy and paste into any website that you may be party to that allows you to use HTML Coding so that you will be able to link to the site using the anchor text as Brian wishes us to do to help increase their rankings and bring in more car donations.

If you are unsure how to copy and paste then watch my video about copy and pasting or just follow my written instructions below

HOW TO COPY AND PASTE
Take your mouse
Place your cursor at the beginning of the text
Click and hold the left mouse button while pulling your mouse over the text
This will highlight the text
Release the left mouse button
Place your cursor over the highlighted text
Right click the mouse for options
Select copy
Then go to where you want to put the text
Right click your mouse again
Select paste
And you just copy and pasted!

Each box contains the HTML Code for one of the three anchor text they would like us to use

All you have to do is copy and past the one you would like to use into your website. For an example I will use Myspace right now and show you how to put this on your Myspace Page.

After you sign in to Myspace put your mouse over Profile then from the drop down menu click Edit Profile

Choose where you would like to place the link on your page I am using the Who I'd Like To Meet Section for this as it is blank on this profile of mine.

Also be sure to write a little something before your link to help bring people's attention to it and understand it's purpose. Here is what I wrote and then immediately following it I posted the link with the anchor text.

The you just click save and Voila you have just linked to 8oocharitycars.org with their anchor text from your site! Here is how it is displayed on my Myspace Page....

You can do this at any site you use that allows you to add a HTML code!

Her Free Charity Cars Experience

I signed up for FCC in August of 2009. I had heard about the site from another site I am on called Wishuponahero.com. I had an old van that needed $2,000 or more in repairs and was unsafe to drive. I had no money for repairs and was afraid to drive my baby in it for fear we would get in an accident or break down.

I heard of the NJ giveaways shortly after I joined the site. They are in Plainfield, NJ, 2 hours away from me. I needed 100 votes to go and be considered so I quickly made friends and voted and was able to get the 100 votes I needed.

I had to borrow a car from a family member to get there. I went the first time and saw a wonderful woman receive a vehicle. They were having giveaways every month so I went every month. On the third trip up it was pouring rain and there were three accidents on the way up....we arrived 10 minutes late for the giveaway. I was able to see who had won and knew they were deserving. 

The fourth time was the charm for me. I won a vehicle in January 2010. I couldn't believe it when they called my name. I won a beautiful 2000 Mercury Mountaineer which is still running great and such a blessing to my family. I feel safe again, can get to doctor appointments, visit my parents, and generally feel free to go places without worry.

The giveaways were a key for me here in NJ. I know other people wait a lot longer if their state doesn't have them. I just kept voting and promoting FCC while waiting for a car and even more so after. I am sad when my friends give up easily and don't return to the site. I have been on this site over a year and most of my friends from NJ have also received cars. 

Where else can you get a car given to you?

Never Give Up!

I see so many who have left and so many who want to give up and leave the site. With exception to those who truly had no real need, or expected to just sign up and automatically get a car, or those who are just negative or make no efforts in promoting and voting etc.. to earn the right to receive a Free Charity Car.

I encourage all the rest of you to stay.


I know it is hard to wait for something you so desperately need. I truly do understand and firsthand. I am in most severely desperate need of a vehicle myself, but I will not give up. I just keep working hard voting and promoting and waiting on that phone call!
You must just look around you and see all of those who have gotten their cars, and quite a few in the past month or so for that matter. Some of whom had been waiting a very long time. Can you imagine if they had given up and walked away?

I know some people are tired of the drama, bashing, people acting mightier than thou etc... but understand this....there will always be people like that anywhere in life. YES even within a charity. Why? Well some are just naturally that type of person, some get jealous, envious, some think this is a competition, and some are so discouraged they lash out that frustration to anyone around them.
NEVER EVER EVER get caught up in it.
Let it go and move on.
Keep your head straight,
your heart right
and move on the down the road.


Your day will come and you can not give up hope.
Just think of all that time you have invested in voting and promoting.
Think of all the efforts you have made.
Now why would you want to just walk away
from so much hard work and time spent on here?

Wait it out and hang in there!
Remember YOU control your fate!

NEVER Give your power to someone else or let anyone steal your joy!
